It’s time again to show your support of the American Heart Association’s campaign to raise awareness about cardiovascular disease in women. Just wear red on Friday, February 7th! Last year, we took some great photos of the COM community “Going Red”, and it would be great to do that again. Follow us on Twitter @ucfcomhsl for another reminder to pull that favorite red shirt or dress out of the laundry in preparation for Friday!
Additionally, feel free to stop by the library and visit our promotional board to pick up some related informational materials courtesy of the American Heart Association.
A big thanks to everyone who participated in National Wear Red Day last Friday! We hope you enjoy the photos in the slideshow below. If you haven’t already, stop by the library and check out our February display case when you have a chance; it’s heart health themed!
The Health Sciences Library would like to invite you to participate in National Wear Red Day, sponsored by the American Heart Association and their Go Red for women campaign! Just wear red this Friday, February 1st, and join the rest of the UCF community as we come together to promote awareness of heart disease in women. We’ll be taking pictures to post to the blog, as well as the official Wear Red Day spirit photo website. Also, be sure to stop by the library and check out our latest display full of useful information regarding health risks factors for heart disease and healthy behaviors.
